GENERALDESCRIPTION
The GL816E is a highly integrated, flexible application USB 2.0 Multi-Interface F lash Card Reader controller.
It supports USB 2.0 high-speed transmission to CompactFlash^TM (CF)Type I/II , Micro Drive, Secure Digital^TM (SD), Mini SD^TM ,MultiMediaCard^TM (MMC), RS MultiMediaCard^TM (RS MMC),  Memory Stick^TM (MS),  Memory Stick Duo^TM
(MS Duo),  High Speed Memory Stick^TM (HS  MS),  Memory   StickPro^TM (MS Pro),  Memory Stick Pro^TM Duo(MS Pro Duo) Memory Stick ROM,   SmartMedia^TM (SM)5V/3.3V ,  and xD-Picture Card^TM(xD)  on one chip. Besides the flash card interface controller each, the GL816E integrates Genesys  Logic own design USB 2.0high-speed UTMI (USB 2.0 Transceiver Macrocell I nterface) transceiver.
